We've been helping TV collectors find what they want since 1992 via our private voice mail system located in Chatsworth, CA. This Web-based text BBS is set up exactly like our voice mail system, and is made up of collectors from all over the world, many of whom are not a part of our voice mail system. GENERAL INFORMATION
The TV Connection is made up of three interactive bulletin boards - THE WANT BOARD, where members post what they are looking to acquire, THE BARTER BOARD, where members post what they have to offer other members, and THE DISCUSSION BOARD, where members meet and talk about different TV shows and related items. Each board consists of many different categories (Comedy, Drama, Game Shows, Sports, etc.) to help collectors locate their interests quickly and easily. A member simply logs onto one of the boards, selects the category of his/her choice, sees a listing of available subjects, clicks on subjects of interest, reads, and replies to the posting members either by private e-mail or right there on the board....it's as simple as that. As soon as the posting member recieves a message from the interested party, the member replies, and presto...a TV Connection is made! Members then work out the details to trade their tapes between themselves, with no outside interference!HOW TO JOIN
As a guest, you will be able to scan the boards and browse all the subjects in the categories of your choice. This will give you an idea of what members are collecting, what they have to offer, and what they are talking about. But, unless you join the system, you will not have access to the messages themselves, nor to any of the members' private e-mail addresses. In order to make TV Connections, you will have to join the system.
